Crystal Schock is the Coordinator of Space Planning & Design at Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada. Prior to her time at TRU, Crystal spent 24 years working as an Architectural Designer, Project Manager, and Construction Administrator on the west coast of Canada, and as a ski area planner, designing lifts, trails, and master plans for mountain resorts worldwide. Crystal brings a unique set of skills to the space planning and design department at TRU - the focus of her architectural career has been in the design and development of small to medium sized institutional and healthcare facilities with significant emphasis on interior design, dynamic, flexible and efficient use of space. She has been tasked with finding new an innovative ways to accommodate a growing campus population with limited capital development.
