Renee Thompson is the Associate Director of Facility Operations at Brigham and Women's Hospital Center for Comparative Medicine (BWH CCM). With certifications as a Certified Manager of Animal Resources (CMAR) and a Laboratory Animal Technologist (LATg), Renee has demonstrated exceptional expertise and dedication in her field. She is also Green Belt certified in Lean Six Sigma, underscoring her commitment to operational excellence.
Renee began her career with Mass General Brigham (MGB) 13 years ago, following her graduation from the University of Vermont. Her passion for both animals and medical advancements naturally led her to a fulfilling career in lab animal care.
Since 2018, Renee has co-chaired the VOE-Network Program Committee, where she has been instrumental in driving various initiatives and programs. In recognition of her leadership and contributions, she was appointed to the Board of Directors in 2020.
